Five good savings habits

If you’re new to saving for your retirement, here are some good habits to get into:

  1. Regularly review the value of your money and their performace using MyCitiPension.
  2. Make changes to your payments at any time on SELECT
  3. Regularly review your investments.
  4. Keep your Expression of Wish instruction up-to-date.
  5. Use the My Projected Pension tool to make sure you’re heading in the right direction.

It’s a good idea to review your pension savings regularly.

Just a health check every few months or so can keep your savings on the right track

Your contributions

Go to MyCitiPension and have a look at what’s been paid in to your plan so far.

You can also use the My Pojected Pension tool on MyCitiPension to see what that could get you when you choose to take your money. This is available under Quotes > My Projected Pension.

If you want to make changes to what you’re paying in (and what Citi will pay in too), go to SELECT.

Your investments

You’ve got plenty of investment options as a Citi Plan member. A good place to start might be to consider the three ‘lifestyle’ options available.

The Lifestyle approaches aim to reduce some of the risks involved with investing.  Each one fits with a specific retirement option in mind.
